The Simson Schwalbe was a moped manufactured in the German Democratic Republic by the state company VEB Fahrzeug- und Jagdwaffenwerk Simson from the town of Suhl ( Thuringia ). It was a very popular vehicle in East Germany. The first model saw the light in 1964 under the name KR51
